Saudi Arabia re-emerges as China’s largest oil supplier
International Business News – Citing Chinese customs data, Reuters reported that Saudi Arabia exported 8.48 million tons of oil to China in August, a 22 percent increase from July and a 5 percent increase from a year earlier. In this way, Saudi Arabia has become China’s largest oil supplier again.
According to the report, Russia ranked second. Russia exported 8.34 million tonnes of oil to China in August, up from 7.14 million tonnes in July and a 28% increase from a year earlier.
China’s third largest oil supplier is Iraq, which supplied 4.32 million tons of oil to China in August. The fourth largest oil supplier is Angola. In fifth place is Brazil, whose supply decreased by 46.9% from last year to 1.88 million tons.
