Kazakhstan’s trade with China reaches $11.26 billion
International Business News – According to Kazakhstan Capital Network News, Kazakhstan’s trade volume with China in the first six months of 2022 will reach 11.26 billion US dollars, an increase of 36.2% over the same period last year, and triple the total in the first half of 2016.
The Ministry of Economy of Kazakhstan said this figure was the highest ever. In addition, the figures for both exports and imports are the highest. Among them, Kazakhstan’s exports to China amounted to 6.63 billion US dollars, and the total import volume from China reached 4.63 billion US dollars. Exports to China saw a larger increase, as oil exports increased 3.8 times to $1.6 billion, while the remaining items saw a 10.5% increase.
In addition, imports have also increased due to a sharp increase in the supply of Chinese machinery, computers and other high-tech products.
